President and CEO of Krause Financial Services, Dale Krause, J.D., LL.M. will walk through some of Medicaid planning’s most complicated situations including dealing with the ill spouse’s IRA, handling non compliant annuities, and gift annuity plans.
Dale M. Krause, J.D., LL.M. is the President and CEO of Krause Financial Services – a Wisconsin-based firm that specializes in crisis Medicaid planning through the use of Medicaid Compliant Annuities and other insurance products. Dale began his career as an estate planning and elder law attorney in Michigan. He eventually turned over his practice to pursue the design and development of Medicaid Compliant Annuities and established Krause Financial Services in the 1990s. Since then, his company has grown to a staff of over 25 elder care professionals devoted to providing solutions for those facing a nursing home stay.
Dale has achieved some of the top honors in the insurance industry, including “Top of the Table” (highest distinction) with the Million Dollar Round Table – The Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Additionally, he received the Chairman’s Leadership Award for outstanding performance and President’s Club status (highest ranking) from ELCO Mutual for the past ten years. In June 2009, Dale was appointed to the Advisory Board for Senior Market Advisor, a national publication for financial professionals.
Rebecca A. Hobbs is the National Director at ElderLawAnswers. She is an associate attorney with the law firm O'Donnell, Weiss & Mattei, P.C. in the greater Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. She is Certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. In 2019, 2018, and 2017 Rebecca was selected for inclusion by the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the field of elder law.
She is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys (PAELA), and serves on the Editorial Board of the NAELA Journal and the serves on the Special Needs Law Section Steering Committee through NAELA. As a member the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), she serves as the Young Lawyer Division Liaison to the Elder Law Section Council. Rebecca is also a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and is a Co-Chair of the Elder Law Section.
